We are here to assist you in all of your health related goals. We provide you with products that can lower your cholesterol, prevent heart disease, maintain proper blood sugar levels, and detox your body. We have the knowledge of doctors and other leaders in the field of healthy living to offer advice and guidance on a healthy lifestyle. But we can’t do everything. Some of the work is on you. For example, one of the most effective ways to remove toxins from your body is exercise, and obviously there is no medical supplement that can take the place of working up a healthy sweat!
Exercise helps the body to detoxify by speeding up the detoxification process. When you exercise, your blood is pumped faster, circulating throughout the body and bringing nutrients to organs and muscles. Exercise also encourages deep, cleansing breaths, that help clear the lungs and get oxygen where the body needs it. There are many other reasons why exercise helps the body detoxify, but the difficulty isn’t knowing the benefits of exercise but establishing an exercise routine, especially if you’ve got a busy schedule. We understand that it can be difficult creating and sticking with a new exercise routine to complement your detox program, so we’ve put together some suggestions on little things you can do throughout your detox diet that won’t take up too much of your busy schedule:
The main thing is to move every chance you get. If you go get a cup of coffee, take an extra lap. If there are stairs in your office, use them as often as possible. You can even take a few extra trips up and down if you feel up to it (and the more you do so, the more you will feel up to it).
If you have the fortune of having your own office, you can always shut the door and do a few daily exercise in between emails and reports. Toe raises, jumping jacks, squats, push ups and nearly all stretches do not require much room.
For those of us who have to stay at a desk in a sea of other desks, it’s not very easy to do some of the more dynamic exercises. But there are a few things you can do at your desk without anyone noticing. Flexing your stomach and holding for as many seconds as you can, well, stomach, will help increase abdominal muscle tone, which will in turn reduce belly fat. You can do reps of that almost all day. You can do the same with your buttocks, just clench, hold and release for as many reps as you can remember to do throughout the day. Calf and leg raises can also be done at your desk. If you’re feeling up to it, you can lift both feet off the ground and hold for a few seconds, and repeat as often as possible. If it is too difficult to lift both feet, try doing one at a time at first. This all may not seem like much, but anything is better than nothing.
You might think you don’t have the time for exercise, but exercise does not just play a role in expelling toxins from your body, as we’ve mentioned it also lowers your cholesterol, prevents heart disease, relieves IBS symptoms, and maintains proper insulin levels. Exercising regularly will also instill a lifestyle of discipline, which will have a huge impact on the rest of your life. And we want you to have a long “rest of your life.” If you’re interested in detoxifying your body comprehensively, check out our cleansing enhancer for detox diets.
